In the concept stage, the knowledge gained in the Study and Analysis stage is transformed into a basic design of the system’s user interface. The design is usually in the form of a working prototype, which includes the main screens of the application and demonstrates principles of navigation, basic workflows, and the representation of important entities.
The concept prototype is a useful tool for communicating with customers, users and domain experts. It allows all parties to relate to a concrete design and to detect and resolve problems in an early stage.
The level of details and the means of prototyping can be adjusted according to the project’s needs. We use a wide range of prototyping tools, including - Borland C++ Builder, Delphi, Microsoft's Visual Basic and various HTML authoring tools
