Human Factors System Design

Human-Machine Design

The actual design of the Human Machine interface is the core of Pamamís activity. Pamam has led and participated in a great number of projects ranging from hand-held and head-mounted individual devices to aircraft and rotorcraft crew-stations and multi-operators command and control centers.

Training and Selection Design

A comprehensive view of the Human-machine environment considers not only the appropriate User Interface but also the training and selection of personnel for the system. Pamam is involved in the design of training materials and skill acquisition devices (e.g. simulators) for individuals and teams, based on cognitive task analysis.
Pamam has led the development of special-purpose selection test batteries based on cognitive task analysis of the designated tasks.
